Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival
Arrive at Noi BAi International Airport. Drive through the fertile Red River delta to reach your hotel in Hanoi city.
Free at leisure in the afternoon.
Day 2: Hanoi - Lao CaiLao Cai
Visit Ho Chi Minh's quarter including the mausoleum, house-on-stilts, museum named after him and One-pillar pagoday locating in the area- one of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam built in the 11th century. Visit Van Mieu (Temple of Literature) - the first university in Vietnam. View the Gothic style of Central Catholic Church and Hanoi Opera under shadow trees.
Hop on a cyclo to petril round the exciting Old Quarter of Hanoi and Hoan Kiem Lake - the Heart of the city. Enjoy the Water Puppet theater - vietnamese traditional art in the evening.
Then transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for Tulico or Ratraco train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train in private Superior compartment (air-conditioned, soft berth, 2person / cabin)
Day 3: Lao Cai - Sapa

Arrive in Lao Cai town at 06:00. Transfer to Sapa, the best resort northern Vietnam with cool climate all year round, where hundreds of different minorities are living.
Visit Silver Waterfall and Cau May bridge on the swirling water. Trekking to visit Ham Rong Mountain. Enjoy the landscape of the town and its surroundings with cool air for all year round. View the highest mountains in Vietnam - the Phansipan in the southwest of Sapa. In the afternoon, trek to visit Ta Phin, Cat Cat Villages of H'Mong and Dao minorities.
Day 4: Sapa - Coc Ly - Lao Cai - Hanoi
Early in the morning, transfer to visit Coc Ly Tuesday market, an attractive minority market in northern Vietnam, locating on the back of Chay River. A boat trip on the river to visit Tien Cave and Trung Do Village (Tay minority). In the afternoon, transfer to Lao Cai to catch Tulico or Ratraco Train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train with the very same conditions.
Day 5: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Halong
Arrive in Hanoi in the morning. After breakfast, transfer Southward to Ninh Binh town to visit unspoiled villages and immense rice fields in the center of the Red River Delta. Visit Bich Dong temple and relics of Hoa Lu ancient Kingdom (Dinh Dynasty in the 10th century). Get on a small boat to row along the small canal in the rice field to visit Tam Coc Caves considered as "Halong Bay on land".
Drive to Halong city in the afternoon to visit one wonder of the world: Halong Bay. Enjoy the sunset at Bai Chay beach at the end of the day.
Day 6: Halong - Cat BaCat Ba National Park
Take a cruise on a lovely and comfortable boat in the most beautiful part of Halong Bay. Visit beautiful islands and caves on Halong Bay and indulge in the immesity of the vast blue sea dotted by floating houses of the fisherman and small islets. Lunch with fresh seafood on boat, then continue sailing to Cat Ba Island, the biggest and the most beautiful island of Hai Phong.
Day 7: Cat Ba - Hai Phong - Hanoi
Visit Cat Co beach, Trung Trang Cave, Cat Ba National Park. In the afternoon, get on a public hydrofoil to Hai Phong, the biggest sea port in the North of Vietnam with its dominant French style buildings. Visit the famous Du Hang pagoda and Trang Kenh carpet enterprise. Drive back to Hanoi after a stop at a handicraft enterprise in Hai Duong, selling goods made by handicapped people.
Day 8: Hanoi - Hue
Take the morning flight to Hue. Spend the whole day to visit one of the World's Heritage site in Hue city - the former Kingdom of the 143 year Nguyen Dynasty. Boat trip on the Perfume river to visit a village along the river bank producing bronze-casting goods or conical hat. Continue by boat to visit Royal Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang King's Mausoleum.
In the afternoon, visit Imperior Citadel - the most important part of the city and Dong Da Market.
In the evening, enjoy a special program on a boat along the Perfume river with Hue's folk songs.
Day 9: Hue - Danang - Hoi An

In the morning, visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh King's Mausoleum, Tu Hieu pagoda.
Drive to Hoi An in the afternoon via the imposing Hai Van mountain pass, a part of Truong Son mountain range running down to the sea to cut in the high way. Stopover at Marble mountain, Non Nuoc beach in Danang city.
Day 10: Hoi An - My Son - Danang
Visit Hoi An ancient town - another World's Heritage of a forgotten seaport from 17th century. Visit a Chinese temple, Japanese bridge and an ancient house of mixing style from Vietnam, China and Japan (Here you can buy some small ancient ceramic gifts as a souvenir with surprising price.)
In the afternoon, visit another World's Heritage in the southwest of Danang - My Son Hollyland - the religious center of powerful Champa Kingdom from 6th to 16th century, with relics of temples, steles and carving statues showing a thriving life of people here at once.
Day 11: Danang - Ho Chi Minh city
Visit Cham Museum, the best collection for the history and culture of former Champa Kingdom. Fly to HCMC and drive to the hotel in HCMC.
Visit the most popular places in the city: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, the City Hall, Reunification Palace, War Museum, China Town, Thien Hau temple. Visit Tay Son Lacquerware enterprise to see the artists producing their masterpieces.
Day 12: HCMC - Cu Chi - Tay Ninh
Drive to Tay Ninh province - 100 km northwest of HCMC- to visit the Holly Temple of the Cao Dai religion - an extraordinary religion in the South of Vietnam.
Visit Cu Chi - a world-wide famous underground tunnel system and also a famous battle field in Vietnam War.
Drive back to HCMC.
Day 13: HCMC - Vinh Long - Can ThoFloating Market

Drive to Vinh Long - one of the 12 fertile provinces of the Mekong Delta. Boat trip on the great Mekong river to visit orchards and farmer's house on An Binh island locating on the immense river. Continue to Can Tho city and visit a Khmer pagoda and Bang Lang Stork gardens in late afternoon.
Day 14: Can Tho - HCMC
Visit authentic Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets in Can Tho's outskirt. Then drive back to HCMC after a stop to visit the Rose Garden in Sadec.
Day 15: HCMC - Phan Thiet
Drive to Mui Ne beach (Phan Thiet) in the morning.
In the afternoon, free at leisure (you can also use this time to relax and enjoy your hotel's private beach and swimming pool.)
Day 16: Phan Thiet - HCMC - Departure
The morning is free at leisure for seabath. About 10:00 A.M. check out and drive to HCMC and then Tan Son Nhat international airport.
